Schon mehr oder minder das Ende der bisherigen Pink Floyd. War schon auf The Wall, Rick Wright nur noch als bezahlter Musiker dabei, so fehlte er hier ganz.Irgenwann gab Roger Waters das Ende von Pink Floyd bekannt. Damit waren aber David Gilmour und Nick Mason nichrt einverstanden. Kurzerhand nahmen sie Rick Wright wieder mit ins Boot, der nachdem Ausscheiden von Roger Waters, keinen Grund mehr sah, bei Pink Floyd nicht mehr mitzumachen.
Nach einem langen Streit um Rechte am Namen Pink Floyd erschien 1987 das Album A Momentary Lapse Of Reason, mit den restlichen 3 als Kerngruppe, dem eine 2 Jahre dauernde Welttour folgte. Es sollte die erfolgreichste Tournee in der Geschichte der Rockmusik werden.

	The Wall Live The Wall live wurde zwischen 1980 und 1981 aufgenommen und ist erst im Jahr 2000 erschienen. Die Qualität der Aufnahmen ist wie bei Pink Floyd nicht anders zu erwarten sehr gut. Ein Muß für jeden Pink Floyd Fan.
